McDonald’s Confirms That the Halloween Happy Meal Pails Are Coming Back This Month!

Rumors have been floating around the last several weeks that the McDonald’s Halloween Happy Meal Pails will be returning this Halloween season, and today McDonald’s has finally confirmed the scoop with some official social media posts. Yes, the pails are back this year!

McBoo, McPunk’n and McGoblin, three of the classic Halloween Happy Meal Pails you may remember from back in the day, are returning this Halloween season for a limited time.

Food Network details, “The pails, which harken back to 1986 as a fun way to house a Happy Meal, will return to participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide from October 18 through 31, while supplies last.” The site adds, “It’s been six years since they have last been seen on menus, but their spirit has very much been kept alive via their loyal fanbase.”

As you can see below, the new pails are very much true to the look of the classic pails, and it looks like we’re getting three variations of each of the characters for the re-release.

The nostalgia level on these bad boys is off the charts, with McDonald’s finally responding to the fan demand and making their return a reality. Be sure to act fast on October 18th!
