‘Hellbreach: Vegas’ Will See You Blast Through Waves of Demons in Sin City [Trailer]

If you relished DOOM Eternal‘s Horde Mode, developer Infinity Ape Studios’ upcoming Hellbreach: Vegas will be one to watch. The wave-based FPS is currently in development for a 2023 release on Steam.

The story for Hellbreach is simple: portals have spawned across Las Vegas, and the resulting hordes of demons that have poured out are now between you and safety. It’s you and your team of human survivors against a demon army, determined to invade a post-apocalyptic Earth. Grab your gun and blast through waves of demons, earning experience to upgrade your guns, ammo, and unlock other bonuses along the way.

While you can go at it alone for the extra challenge, you might want backup, as the difficulty and intensity of enemies increases with each wave. You’ll have plenty of firepower at your disposal, as you’ll be able to choose from a combination of 23 modern and futuristic weapons.

If you’re hungry for an additional challenge, the Gun Pro mode allows you to hone your accuracy skills with all of the weapons available in the game.

And hey, since you’re in Vegas, you can partake in a little gambling on the side. Collect skulls for demon slaying and play the Pull-A-Skull Machine, and potentially convert your winnings into even more winnings at the prize, boost, or weapon slot machines.
