‘Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition’ Now Available for Current-Gen Systems, PC [Trailer]

Current-gen fans can finally enjoy Shadow Warrior 3 (which was released last year) with the release of the Definitive Edition of the game, which is now available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series. This new version of the game not only sports improved graphics and performance, but several new features, including a Survival Mode.

Described as being “reinvigorated”, this new version of Shadow Warrior 3 features the usual 4K and 60fps upgrades, as well as DualSense haptic feedback for PlayStation 5 owners. The game also features new skins, a chapter selection, and a New Game Plus Mode and a Survival Mode, which are unlocked after the main story is completed.

Survival Mode consists of three new battle arenas which offer up three new weapon skins for those who can complete the challenge. For those looking for a challenge, Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition also includes a new Hardcore Difficulty setting and a Hero Mode, which grants Lo Wang a limited amount of lives that can only be replenished through finishers.

The Definitive Edition upgrade is available for free for existing owners of Shadow Warrior 3. Currently, the game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. It’s also available via Xbox Game Pass.
