The storm brings new life…
Heading into the EFM this weekend, above is your first look at Raymond Creamer’s horror film Birth Night, part of Film Mode Entertainment’s forthcoming slate.
Birth Night takes place during a ferocious blizzard as a home birth spirals into terror when complications arise… and something far more dangerous than the storm closes in.
The film stars Samantha Robinson, Colleen Foy, Zoe Renee, and Colby Hollman.
ScreenDaily adds that Phil Hunt’s Head Gear Films packaged the project with Room 101. Film Mode represents worldwide rights, excluding North America, UK and Australia.
Creamer, Keely Yulla Kemp, and Harrison Rothman are the producers, with horror veteran Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity, Insidious) of Room 101 and Head Gear’s Hunt, Compton Ross, and Charlie Kemball serving as executive producers.
Film Mode is also bringing Ondine Viñao’s satirical thriller Two Neighbors to EFM.
It stars Chloe Cherry from Euphoria and Anya Chalotra from The Witcher as a struggling writer and an insatiable socialite who become entangled in a psychological conflict.
“A struggling writer and an insatiable socialite become entangled in a dangerous conflict fueled by a modern-day genie who promises to grant their deepest, darkest wishes.”
Jordan Johnson and Viñao co-wrote the screenplay based on Aesop’s fable Avaricious and Envious.
Ralph Ineson from The Witch and Taz Skylar from One Piece round out the key cast.
The film, produced by Silkscreen and Portal Pictures, shot in the UK and is produced by Ivy Freeman-Attwood.
