“The Year of the Dragon” Event on Now in ‘Dying Light 2’ [Trailer]

After wrapping up celebrating the holidays, Techland is ringing in the Year of the Dragon with Dying Light 2, offering up an in-game celebration that’s on now. Lasting until February 19th, players can partake in in-game festivities, experiencing daily rewards, new encounters and collectibles.

During The Year of the Dragon event for Dying Light 2, players will battle the undead with draconic support and rescue survivors to collect time-limited Red Envelopes filled with varying surprises. Logging in daily will earn you Dragon’s Blessings for gameplay benefits, while as is the norm for events such as these, players will complete various goals and missions to earn items. In this case, players will be earning items from the Dragon Warrior Bundle.

The bundle includes the Dragon Warrior armor, amd Tigerwing Paraglider, as well as the new Sky Piercer Ji weapon that includes increased thrown damage and an additional shock effect, and a Chi-Tu Charm that reduces stamina usage from using weapon attacks.

If you miss out on this one, don’t worry. This bundle will be available for purchase at a later date for 500 DL Points. You’ll also be able to claim additional free gear from the Pilgrim Outpost and via Twitch drops.

This all leads up to Dying Light 2‘s second anniversary later this month, with more news on that celebration coming soon.

Dying Light 2 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
