Throwback Survival Horror Title ‘Crow Country’ to Launch May 9th for Steam and PlayStation 5 [Trailer]

SFB Games has announced that their throwback Survival Horror title Crow Country will launch on May 9th on Steam and PlayStation 5. The demo that was made available last month during Steam Next Fest is still up on Steam, just in case you need to that “try before you buy” thing.

Accompanying the release date announcement is a new trailer, which gives another short-but-sweet look at the game’s aesthetic, which gets appropriately dark in a hurry.

Crow Country takes place in the year 1990. It’s been two years since the mysterious disappearance of Edward Crow and the abrupt closure of his theme park, the eponymous Crow Country. You are Mara Forest, and you’re searching for some answers from Crow. To do so, you’ll need to survive this atmospheric blend of tension and tranquility, where as you progress, you gradually piece together why Edward really shut down his park, and to where he mysteriously disappeared.

“We’re really excited to announce the launch date for Crow Country, and I can’t wait for players to finally get their hands on the finished game,: said Adam Vian, Creative Director for SFB Games. “This project has been a real labour of love – there are so many secrets and surprises for players to discover in Crow Country when it launches.”
