An Influencer Gets Possessed in Blumhouse’s Spanish-Language Horror Film ‘No Me Sigas’

At last night’s CCXP Festival in Mexico City, Blumhouse announced its first Spanish-language original film, No Me Sigas (English translation: Don’t Follow Me).

Desperate to fit in with her friends, 20-something Carla moves into an abandoned apartment with the goal of becoming a social media influencer by faking hauntings. However, she accidentally invokes a real malevolent entity that possesses her right in front of her viewers, who can no longer tell the difference between what is real and what is fake.

Karla Coronado, Julia Maqueo, and Yankel Stevan (“Control Z”) star.

Siblings Ximena García Lecuona and Eduardo Lecuona make their feature directorial debut from a script by Ximena.

Currently in post-production, the movie was produced in Mexico by Maligno Gorehouse (Huesera: The Bone Woman), Wild Sheep Content, and Edge Films alongside Blumhouse.

No Me Sigas will be released theatrically in Mexico this fall by Cinepolis. No word on US distribution at this time.
