Blumhouse Games finally had enough of the teasing, and at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, unveiled two of their in-development titles. After hinting at The Horror Game Awards Summer Showcase, Blumhouse unveiled the full trailers for Crisol: Theater of Idols, which will launch on PC and consoles in 2025, and SLEEP AWAKE, which will launch on PC and consoles in 2026.
Currently available for wishlisting on Steam, Crisol: Theater of Idols takes players deeper into the world of Hispania, a nightmarish version of Spain torn apart by two warring religions. Players take control of Gabriel, a soldier who uses blood as both weapon and lifeline, to fulfill a divine mission from the Sun God. Combining strategic FPS action with survival horror, every shot drains your life. As a result, you must choose your targets wisely—survival hinges on the ability to balance life and death.
Also revealed was SLEEP AWAKE, the first title from EYES OUT, founded by veteran game designer Cory Davis (Spec Ops: The Line) and Nine Inch Nails‘ Robin Finck. The game is an immersive first-person psychedelic horror narrative experience that takes place in the last known city on Earth. People are disappearing in their sleep, and those who remain exist in a crisis of reckless experiments to keep awake. As Katja, players must navigate depraved death cults, otherworldly forces and the ever-present horror of The HUSH, the inexplicable disappearance of those who sleep. SLEEP AWARK is also available to wishlist on Steam.
