Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group have unleashed the first terrifying look at Scream 7, marking the highly anticipated return of horror icon Sidney Prescott — and a brand-new chapter in Woodsboro’s blood-stained legacy.
This time, the stakes are personal as hell. The film will showcase Sidney (Neve Campbell) enjoying a quiet suburban life far from the chaos that defined her past. But peace never lasts long in this franchise. When a new Ghostface killer emerges, the terror follows her home — and the target is her daughter, played by Isabel May. What follows is a chilling blend of generational trauma, meta horror, and brutal slasher mayhem that promises to redefine what Scream means for a new decade.
Directed by original series creator Kevin Williamson, Scream 7 looks to bring the franchise full circle. The trailer teases a return to classic suspense — phone calls in the dark, blood on white tile, and that unmistakable Ghostface taunt — while expanding the mythology with fresh faces and unexpected survivors. Campbell’s reunion with Courteney Cox’s Gale Weathers feels both nostalgic and earned, with the two veterans clearly ready to reclaim the series they built.
The film also stars Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos — an ensemble mixing survivors, suspects, and inevitable victims.

Produced by William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein, the movie is written by Kevin Williamson and Guy Busick, from a story by James Vanderbilt and Busick, based on Williamson’s original characters.
From what we’ve seen so far, Scream 7 is here to burn it all down.
