Happy Halloween, horror fans. What better way to get into the spirit of the year’s greatest day than to get lost in an ooky, spooky revinention of radio play horror? Well, it’s just your luck, as Glass Eye Pix has announced the return of its acclaimed genre audio drama series Tales From Beyond the Pale, presented by Glenn McQuaid and Larry Fessenden. The show’s sixth season launches with a new audio teaser and poster by Brian Level, just in time for Halloween. Check them both out down below.
Now celebrating 40 years of independent filmmaking, the legendary Glass Eye Pix has produced unmissable horror classics like Depraved, I Sell the Dead, The House of the Devil, and Stake Land.
McQuaid, co-writer and director of The Restoration at Grayson Manor and I Sell the Dead, also releases music under the name Witchboard. Fessenden, known for Habit, Wendigo, Blackout, and Trauma, has produced numerous films and co-wrote Supermassive’s hit video game Until Dawn.
The latest season is home to some of the most killer creative voices in horror. The season’s teaser episode, “The Host,” stars Jaxon Bartok and Leon Barrett, is directed by Fessenden and written and scored by McQuaid. The poster art is by Brian Level.
