In one of the first big surprises out of the EFM in Berlin, here is your first look at Henry Cavill (Superman, The Witcher) in the Highlander reboot, directed by John Wick filmmaker Chad Stahelski!
Cavill shared two first-look images on Instagram Wednesday morning. “Happy First Look for Highlander!” Cavill wrote. “This has been quite the journey for me, which I’ll tell you all about when the time is right, but it’s a special moment to be able to share this. I hope you enjoy.”
The Highlander reboot cast also includes Russell Crowe (The Pope’s Exorcist, Unhinged), Karen Gillan (Oculus), Djimon Hounsou (A Quiet Place Part II), Dave Bautista (Knock at the Cabin), Marisa Abela and Max Zhang.
Here’s the leaked synopsis:
“Centuries after his first death on a Scottish battlefield, immortal warrior Connor MacLeod lives quietly in the modern world, haunted by loss and the endless cycle of violence among his kind.
