Archstone Entertainment kicks off sales at EFM on the psychological horror Sacred Evil starring Sean Patrick Flanery (Saw 3D, Nefarious) and Tom Arnold (Body Bags, Freddy’s Dead, Dead Ants), reports ScreenDaily.
Matt Flynn directed the story about a young woman who tries to put an end to horrific nightmares by visiting the town where her ancestors were executed.
Mindy Sterling (House, Look Away) and Orlando Jones round out the key cast on the story, which the filmmakers claim is based on actual events.
James Thomas Flynn and Michael Bonenfant of Stache Pictures served as producers and are planning a festival run to what they describe as “a love letter to horror films from the 1990s and early 2000s.”
Archstone holds worldwide rights and will announce release plans after the festival run.
