Art the Clown, Silent Hill, Jason, and More: Here’s Everything Announced During the ‘Dead by Daylight’ 10th Anniversary Broadcast

Last night’s 10th Anniversary Broadcast for Dead by Daylight gave fans their first look at what’s ahead for the game’s eleventh year, and Behaviour Interactive packed the presentation with major reveals.

While the biggest headline from the event was the announcement that Thordur Palsson will direct the upcoming live-action Dead by Daylight feature film for Blumhouse and Atomic Monster, the game’s future took center stage with a roadmap featuring new chapters, returning franchises, long-requested crossover characters, and a glimpse at the next evolution of the horror multiplayer phenomenon.

Leading the charge is the arrival of Art the Clown from the Terrifier franchise, who will officially join Dead by Daylight later this year.

Behaviour confirmed that Art will enter The Fog in November, finally bringing one of modern horror’s most requested killers into the game.

The announcement comes as Dead by Daylight prepares to welcome another legendary slasher icon. Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees, whose arrival was previously announced earlier this year, is scheduled to join the game in June.

Fans of Silent Hill also have something to look forward to. Behaviour announced a new wave of content inspired by Silent Hill f, continuing the franchise’s long-running relationship with one of gaming’s most beloved horror properties.

One of the more surprising announcements from the broadcast was a crossover with Scooby-Doo. While details remain limited, the beloved mystery-solving franchise will officially make its way into Dead by Daylight, creating one of the most unexpected pairings in the game’s history.

IGN’s recap of the anniversary broadcast also highlighted several additional announcements, including The Life Road chapter arriving June 25, the community-created Chorus of Sin chapter, future content connected to The Casting of Frank Stone, collaborations with The Walking Dead and Diablo, new content inspired by Iron Maiden and Ice Nine Kills, and a major visual overhaul planned for 2027. Readers interested in a deeper breakdown of those announcements can find additional details in IGN’s full recap of the livestream.

Originally released in 2016, Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game that pits four Survivors against a single Killer. The game’s original roster included The Trapper, The Wraith, and The Hillbilly before evolving into a horror crossover phenomenon. Over the years, the game has welcomed icons including Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, Ghost Face, Pinhead, Pyramid Head, Chucky, The Xenomorph, and many more, cementing its place as one of horror’s ultimate crossover destinations.
