SEGA Brings ‘Alien: Isolation 2’ to Gamescom With a Playable Demo

SEGA Brings

SEGA has announced its lineup for Gamescom 2026, where attendees will get the chance to go hands-on with several of the publisher’s biggest upcoming games.

Located in Hall 7 at Cologne’s Koelnmesse from August 26–30, SEGA’s booth will feature playable demos, themed photo opportunities, on-site challenges, and merchandise giveaways. Five upcoming titles will be playable, with each game receiving its own dedicated booth space.

The biggest draw is Alien: Isolation 2, which will make its first public hands-on appearance in Europe. SEGA says the booth’s claustrophobic, lo-fi sci-fi setting has been designed to complement the game’s playable prologue and immerse fans in its tense atmosphere.

Alien: Isolation is part of the official canon of the Alien franchise. The game follows Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley, and is set approximately 15 years after the events of the original film aboard the Sevastopol space station.

It features first-person survival horror gameplay focused on stealth and evasion of a single persistent Xenomorph threat.

Upon release in 2014, the game received generally positive critical reception, with particular praise for its atmosphere and fidelity to the tone of the original film.

No official title, release date, platforms, or gameplay details have been disclosed yet.
