To go along with Naughty Dog’s ongoing developer diary series, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that The Last of Us Part II will be getting an entire State of Play on May 27th. The event will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch at 1pm Pacific Time/4pm Eastern Time.
The 20-minute broadcast will focus entirely on The Last of Us Part II, including details on the gameplay experience and story from director Neil Druckmann. As well, the event will end with an extended sequence showing off about eight minutes of never-before-seen gameplay.
Sony also clarified that much like their Ghost of Tsushima-devoted State of Play a few weeks ago, there will be no PS5 news or updates in this episode, “just a deep dive into the world of The Last of Us Part II.”
The Last of Us Part II is due out for PlayStation 4 on June 19 worldwide.
