Campbell Scott Will Play a Returning Original ‘Jurassic Park’ Character in ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’

We already know that several Jurassic Park characters will be returning in Jurassic World: Dominion, including Sam Neill‘s Alan Grant, Laura Dern‘s Ellie Sattler, and Jeff Goldblum‘s Ian Malcolm, and Collider brings us word today that the character Lewis Dodgson will also be back. This time around, however, he’s being played by an entirely different actor.

The site reports that Campbell Scott (“House of Cards”) has been cast to play Lewis Dodgson in Dominion, the character played by Cameron Thor in the original Jurassic Park.

Biosyn researcher Lewis Dodgson, who appears in the 1993 film alongside Wayne Knight’s Dennis Nedry, will be the “CEO of Biosyn Genetics” in Dominion, Collider also reports.

Colin Trevorrow is directing Dominion, with the production currently on hold due to the pandemic. The film’s current release date is June 11, 2021, but that could change.

The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Dichen Lachman, Mamoudou AthieDeWanda Wise and Scott Haze.
