‘Count Crowley’ Creator David Dastmalchian Hosting a Live Stream Panel Paying Tribute to Horror Hosts

Actor David Dastmalchian‘s comic book mini-series Count Crowley is one big ole love letter to the days of the horror host, centered on the “reluctant midnight monster hunter” Jerri Bartman and her adventures as both horror host and monster slayer. In that same spirit, Dastmalchian is hosting the “Horror Host Live (Dead) Stream Panel” early next month.

Dastmalchian (aka Dr. Fearless) is getting together with a special Panel of Horror Hosts on the Dark Horse Comics Twitch Channel on SUNDAY, JULY 5th at 5pm PST / 8pm EST.

The panel will include Dr. Fearless, Professor Griffin, Marlena Midnite and Ormon Grimsby as well as a number of SURPRISE GUESTS to discuss Horror Hosts, the History of Horror Hosting and… HORROR! The panel will be directly followed by a “Creature Feature Quarantine Watch Party” of the Boris Karloff classic… THE OLD DARK HOUSE at 5:30pm PST / 8:30pm EST.

Everyone gets on their best horror host attire and we all hit play together,” Dastmalchian explains. “When we can Live Tweet while Dr. Fearless and others will continue to appear on Instagram Live and other platforms during the movie. Anyone who would like to ask a question of the Horror Hosts, please submit them to countcrowleyofficial@gmail.com.

The Old Dark House is currently streaming on Shudder.
