First-time director Lee Min-jae’s outrageous zom-com, Zombie For Sale, is set to hit Blu-ray on July 7th, courtesy of Arrow Films. This Korean genre mashup has been earning high marks since making its debut in February of 2019.
In Zombie For Sale, Korea’s biggest Pharmaceutical company performs illegal human experiments in an effort to create the newest and best drugs. One of the test subjects that has mistakenly been turned into a zombie escapes and ends up at a small gas station owned by the Park family – a band of misfits spanning three generations who hustle passers-by to make ends meet. The Park family discovers they can use their new friend as a means to make money, but unfortunately, things take a terrible turn.
