M. Night Shyamalan has filled his cast for his next top secret Universal Pictures project, which he will direct and produce from his own screenplay.
Joining the cast are Mad Max: Fury Road‘s Abbey Lee, who can also be seen in Jordan Peele’s forthcoming HBO series “Lovecraft Country”, Nikki Amuka-Bird (The Omen) and Ken Leung (“Lost”, X-Men: The Last Stand), reports Deadline.
They join previously announced Eliza Scanlen (Babyteeth), Thomasin McKenzie (The Last Night in Soho), Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff (Hereditary), and Vicky Krieps.
Shyamalan has described the film as being “weird and dark”, although there are no plot details as of this writing.
It was scheduled to release in February of 2021 but has been delayed due to the pandemic.
