Netflix Announces That They’ve Ordered Up a Sixth and Final Season of “Lucifer”

Netflix came on board to rescue “Lucifer” after Fox pulled the plug back in 2018, with season four debuting on the streaming service and season five headed our way on August 21. We had been told that the fifth season would be the final season, but it was recently rumored that the series would actually be returning for a sixth season. Today, that has been confirmed.

Officially announced by Netflix today, “Lucifer” will return for a sixth and FINAL season.

For real this time. Probably.

In “Lucifer,” starring Tom Ellis in the title role, Lucifer Morningstar has decided he’s had enough of being the dutiful servant in Hell and decides to spend some time on Earth to better understand humanity. He settles in Los Angeles – the City of Angels.
