Magnet Releasing has hit the road with Alone, the English-language remake of director Mattias Olsson‘s Gone (2011) that’s now in limited theaters and on VOD platforms.
In the film directed by John Hyams (Netflix’s “Black Summer”, Universal Soldier: Regeneration, Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning), a woman, traveling alone, is kidnapped and forced to fight for her survival.
“Set in the Pacific Northwest wilderness, the film follows recently widowed Jessica (Jules Willcox) who, fleeing the city in a desperate attempt to cope with the loss of her late husband, is kidnapped and locked away in a mysterious man’s cabin. Her escape from the clutches of this murderous captor lands her in the heart of the untamed wilderness, with only her wits to rely on for survival as her pursuer closes in.”
Bloody has an exclusive clip in which Wilcox’s character wakes up in a basement and screams for help, only to come face-to-face with her captor.
