Japanese Physical Version of ‘Dead By Daylight: Silent Hill Edition’ Includes New Song by ‘Silent Hill’ Composer Akira Yamaoka

Silent Hill fans were kind of led astray a few weeks back with news that Masahiro Ito and Akira Yamaoka were reteaming for a World of Tanks event, which wasn’t quite the Silent Hill news we were looking for. Yamaoka has made it up though, as the recent Dead by Daylight expansion involving Silent Hill is not only getting a physical release in Japan, but is including new music from Yamaoka!

Let’s rewind a second. The Silent Hill expansion to Behaviour Interactive’s asymmetrical multiplayer game will be getting a physical release for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan on November 19th. Both versions will include the original soundtrack for the Silent Hill expansion, which contains a new song by Yamaoka entitled “Like The Moon”.

This new track was made in collaboration with Dead by Daylight composer Michel F. April, and comes with Japanese lyrics. Best of all, you can check out a clip of the new song below. The soundtrack also includes the Dead by Daylight title theme scored by Akira Yamaoka.

Dead by Daylight is currently out for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, the Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.

Props to Japanese site Gamer for posting this.
