[First Look] ‘Scare Me’ Director’s ‘Werewolves Within’ a Horror-Comedy “Whatdunit”!

Following the Sundance World Premiere of his horror-comedy Scare Me, which Meagan Navarro reviewed and called “imaginative and cozy”Josh Ruben directed Werewolves Within, a horror-comedy I’ve been told is ridiculously good.

In the film, “Shenanigans ensue when a massive blizzard isolates a small Vermont town, causing simmering resentments to boil over as the oddball townspeople are one by one picked off by a mysterious creature.

Sam Richardson (“Detroiters”, “Veep”) and Michael Chernus (Netflix’s “Easy”) both star in the film that’s based on Ubisoft’s virtual reality video game, set in a fictitious medieval town where a werewolf is attacking the townspeople, and players must guess who among them is the werewolf in disguise, as previously explained by Deadline.

EW premiered the first ever stills from the film noting that “the lycanthropically-themed horror-comedy is both a whodunit and a whatdunit.”

The wait won’t be long as IFC Films will release Werewolves Within in limited theaters on June 25th before sending it to VOD/Digital July 2.

Trailer soon!
