One of the brand new international movies coming to Netflix this summer is the Korean horror film The 8th Night, which has unleashed an official trailer full of interesting imagery today.
Netflix explains, “The 8th Night centers on a life-or-death battle spanning eight days to prevent the breaking of the seal that restrains “That Which Must Not Awaken.” Once awakened, it can cross the stepping stones to wreak havoc on this world.”
“With prayer beads in one hand and an ax in the other, a monk hunts down a millennia-old spirit that’s possessing humans and unleashing hell on Earth.”
Kim Tae-hyung wrote and directed. The cast for the Gom Pictures & Gogo Studio film includes Lee Sung-min, Park Hae-joon, Kim You-jung, Nam Da-reum, and Kim Dong-yeong.
