Things seem to be getting interesting with the Halo TV adaptation. With the show moving from Showtime to Paramount+ four months ago, according to Variety, the series’ showrunner, Steven Kane will be leaving the production once the first season is completed.
Production is still ongoing for the first season, with Kane joining Kyle Killen as co-showrunner. Kane’s decision to leave the Budapest production and return to the US is apparently for personal reasons.
Produced by 343 Industries and Amblin Television, the series has Otto Bathurst on board to direct. Pablo Schreiber stars as Master Chief, with Danny Sapani, Olive Gray and Charlie Murphy also set as series regulars. Natascha McElhone, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac, Kate Kennedy and Yerin Ha are also set to star.
