The next horror movie from Hallowed Ground and The Dinner Party director Miles Doleac is titled Demigod, starring Rachel Nichols and now acquired by Gravitas Ventures.
Deadline reports that Gravitas will release Demigod in US theaters in “late October,” with a day-and-date release that will bring the film to streaming on the very same day.
Nichols, who appeared in The Amityville Horror (2005), The Woods and P2, “will play Robin, who travels with her husband Leo (Yohance Myles) to Germany’s Black Forest upon the death of her huntsman grandfather. Soon after arriving at his secluded cabin, Robin realizes that the inheritance left her is far more macabre than she had bargained for. She finds herself entrenched in an ancient hunting ritual that will force her to reckon with her family’s past and her own will to overcome the monstrous obstacles in her path.”
The cast for the movie from Historia Films and Artist Vodka Films also includes Jeremy London, Sherri Eakin, Lindsay Anne Williams, Alli Hart, and Miles Doleac himself.
Michael Donovan Horn wrote the script with Doleac.
