Coming up from Quentin Tarantino is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: A Novel, Tarantino’s first novel and a 400-page expansion on his 2019 movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Harper Perennial will be releasing the novel on June 29, and an official trailer that was debuted by Entertainment Weekly today features previously unseen footage from the movie.
As you may recall, over an hour of footage from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood wasn’t actually used in the movie, and Tarantino has been teasing a 4-hour cut down the road. For starters, Tim Roth had his scenes cut from the film, and Damon Herriman had also noted a while back that his performance as Charles Manson was largely removed from the film entirely.
The book’s trailer indeed includes bits of Herriman’s performance that were never seen in the movie, along with some other stuff you’ve never seen before. Check it out below.
