Nothing is more spectacular than Neo and his rubber duckie.
The Matrix Resurrections trailer is here and it’s nothing short of spectacular… well, so was the first film in the saga that this appears to be replicating. Déjà vu?
Outside of Keanu Reeves‘ Neo sitting in therapy with Neil Patrick Harris, and Neo running into Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) in a coffee shop, the footage is a flashbang of magnificent imagery from inside and out of the Matrix. There are plenty of bullet time VFX sequences and an abundance of gravity-defying stunts.
Director Lana Wachowski paints a canvas with glorious shots of the city and brings a hail of fire down into the streets during one of the many action sequences.
It all comes and goes in the blink of an eye, so we collected a handful of some of the most spectacular shots from the first trailer.
Christmas can’t come soon enough. The Matrix Resurrections heads back down the rabbit hole on December 22nd.
