[Watch] YouTuber RagnarRox Releases New ‘Shadow Man Remastered’ Retrospective Doc, With Discount Code For GOG Version of The Game

With Nightdive’s Shadow Man Remastered being released earlier this year, some of you are probably wondering just what all the fuss is about with regards to the game and its history. Lucky for you, YouTuber RagnarRox is back with another “Monster of the Week” retrospective that just so happens to take a look at the game, as well as its turbulent history.

For newcomers, Shadow Man is a comic series published by Valiant Entertainment, which saw a reboot earlier this year. The story concerns Michael LeRoi, who is the current incarnation of Shadow Man. Shadow Man is actually a lineage of voodoo warriors who protect the world of the living (known as Liveside) from threats crossing over from Deadside.

Shadow Man was adapted initially by Acclaim as a video game back in 1999 for the PC, PlayStation and Nintendo 64. While the PC and N64 versions were well-received, the PlayStation version was crippled by cut content and bugs. This was subsequently fixed with Nightdive’s remaster.

And just in case you haven’t gotten ahold of the game yet, GOG has a special promo on for 25% off until September 22. You can save an additional 5% by using RagnarRox’s RAGNAR30SHADOWMAN promo code.

Shadow Man Remastered is also available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
