Sega and Creative Assembly have announced that Total War: Warhammer III will release on February 17, 2022 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The title will also be available day one on the Xbox Game Pass. Coinciding with the announcement is a new trailer for the game, which introduces the Ogre Kingdoms.
The story for Warhammer III concerns the dimension of the Realm of Chaos, where four Ruinous Powers seek to engulf the world in a tide of daemonic corruption. On the border between the world and the Realm of Chaos, two kingdoms stand: the stern warriors of Kislev, and the vast empire of Grand Cathay. But each is beset by its own trials, and now both have cause to cross the threshold and send their armies into the Realm of Chaos.
Pre-orders are live now, which will also net you an additional free Race Pack.
