It may be a while before we hear more about that BioShock sequel currently in production, so leave it to fans to tide us over. YouTuber 64-bits, who has done several parody videos, has come up with a little something for BioShock Infinite: a 16-bit “demake” video in the style of the Super Nintendo.
The video recreates the moment where Infinite‘s protagonist Booker meets Elizabeth, presented in glorious pixel artwork and sound that replicates Nintendo’s classic 16-bit hardware. It doesn’t quite match up with the SNES’ colour palette, but it’s still darn good.
Meanwhile, if for whatever reason you haven’t played BioShock Infinite, you can grab the game for a cool 75% off discount on Steam until January 5th. Or, if you want to spring for the whole thing, the bundled game and Season Pass are also 75% off. BioShock Infinite is also available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Switch.
