“Moon Knight” Super Bowl Spot Features Fresh Footage from Marvel’s Dark New Series

Oscar Isaac is headed back into the world of Marvel with the upcoming Disney+ series “Moon Knight,” which was developed by Jeremy Slater (“The Exorcist”). Out of the Super Bowl tonight, the “Big Game” spot for “Moon Knight” is packed with some badass new footage!

“Moon Knight” takes flight on Disney+ March 30. Watch the spot below.

Ethan Hawke will be playing the series’ lead villain.

Mohamed Diab (Clash) is on board as director and showrunner, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution, Spring, V/H/S: Viral, The Endless, Synchronic) directing as well.

Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, introduced in Werewolf by Night #32 (August 1975). THR describes the Marvel character as “an ex-Marine turned mercenary whose multiple alter egos allow him to better fight crime.”

Moon Knight has to date never appeared in the world of live-action, and the Disney+ series is reportedly set to pave the way for the character to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Moon Knight has recently been voiced on TV by Diedrich Bader (Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister Six), Gideon Emery (“Avengers Assemble”) and Peter Giles (“Spider-Man”).
