Escape an Abandoned Motel in ‘Oxide Room 104’ Next Month [Trailer]

If you’re into the idea of a Survival Horror game that has you waking up in a bathtub full of blood in an abandoned motel, then WildSphere’s Oxide Room 104 may just be your thing. Releasing next month for PC via Steam, Xbox One and Xbox Series, the Spanish developer has announced that the game will see a physical release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch. In addition, the physical versions will come with two Oxide Room 104-themed postcards.

The story puts you in the shoes of Matthew, who after meeting with his contact at the abandoned Night Soul Motel, wakes up in said bathtub with no memory of how he got there, or why there’s so much blood. Matthew now has to use his wits to escape room 104, and the motel, alive.

As an added twist, every decision you make will alter Oxide Room 104‘s story, along with your chances of coming out alive. You’ll be having to sneak through the old motel looking for a way out while discovering just what’s going on. At the same time, you’ll have to avoid a presence that’s stalking you as you make your way through the hotel.

If you do manage to succumb to the presence, it’s not the end (yet). Each time Matthew dies, he returns to the bathtub in room 104, but at the cost of your flesh and sanity. Every action you take will change the course of events, making each playthrough unique. But how often can you avoid death in your pursuit of freedom?
