‘Infinite Summer’ – Sci-fi Movie Gets Hand-Painted Poster Ahead of Fantasia 2024 Premiere

The Fantasia International Film Festival returns with its 28th edition from July 18 through August 4, 2024, and one of the genre movies premiering at the fest is Estonia-based Miguel Llansó’s (Crumbs, Jesus Shows You the Way to the Highway) new film Infinite Summer.

The fest previews, “Fantasia is proud to be bringing the visionary iconoclast back to Montreal for the World Premiere of what may be his most compelling creation yet, a trippy transhumanist sci-fi exploration vibrant with humor, poignancy, and gonzo invention.”

While you wait, check out the hand-painted official poster below.

In the upcoming Infinite Summer, “On a summer break, Mia and her friends try a meditation app that’s somehow related to the operating system of the Tallinn Zoo, changing the body chemistry of its users into something between pollen and cosmic dust.

“Mia will need to choose between saving her friends or joining them.”

The film is produced by Allison Rose Carter and Jon Read (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Rain Rannu (Chasing Unicorns), and Tõnu Hiielaid (Kratt), and Llansó himself.

Infinite Summer stars Hannah Gross, Johanna Rosin, and Teele Kaljuvee-O’Brock.
