Crystal Lake Tours: Visit the Original ‘Friday the 13th’ Filming Location in New Jersey This Spring!

It’s not every day you get to tour the filming location of one of the most iconic movies ever made.

Crystal Lake Tours is a bucket list item for fans of Sean Cunningham’s summertime slasher Friday the 13th. The adventure is a collection of extraordinary experiences including guided tours and special events.

These events are held at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco in Hardwick, New Jersey, USA – the primary filming location of the first Friday the 13th. Please note that the camp is private property and closed to the public outside of official tour dates.

For those interested in this unforgettable experience, tickets are now on sale for their spring 2021 tours that run on select weekends from April 16 through June 6. There are multiple options available, including shorter lakefront tours, extended tours and tours with special activities.

You can purchase tickets directly by clicking here. If you can’t make these dates, you can enter the ticket waitlist by clicking here. For those who can’t make the trek, there is a pretty cool gift shop with a ton of items available (who’s getting me a hoodie?).

Note: These are the last tours available until late August. Note that the camp will not be open to the public on Friday, August 13th as their youth camping program will still be underway at that time.

Proceeds from these events help support the restoration and maintenance projects at the historic Scout camp as well as support youth camping programs throughout the Northern New Jersey Council, BSA.
