World War II Thriller ‘Burial’ Centers on a Deadly Mission to Transport Hitler’s Body [Image]

IFC Midnight has taken North American rights to the World War II thriller Burial, with principal photography recently wrapping up on the film directed by Ben Parker (The Chamber).

A fictional thriller, Burial follows a small group of Russian soldiers on a secret mission to transport Hitler’s body out of enemy territory and back to Russia.

“Set in the last days of WWII, the film tells the fictional story of a small band of Russian soldiers led by intelligence officer Brana Vasilyeva who is tasked with trafficking the remains of Hitler back to Stalin in Russia.

“En route, the unit is attacked by German ‘Werewolf’ partisans and picked off one-by-one. Brana leads her surviving comrades in a last stand to ensure their ‘cargo’ doesn’t fall into the hands of those who would see it buried in order to hide the truth forever.”

Charlotte Vega (Wrong Turn), Tom Felton (Harry Potter), Harriet Walter (“Killing Eve”), Barry Ward (Maze), Bill Milner (iBoy), Dan Skinner (High-Rise), Niall Murphy (Dead Along the Way), and David Alexander (Killers Anonymous) star in the upcoming movie.
