In the wake of Charlize Theron stealing the show in Snow White and the Huntsman and its sequel, Deadline reports that Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) is likely to be our next Evil Queen.
Gadot is in talks to play the iconic character in a new live-action Snow White movie for Disney, the site reports, and she’s currently in “final negotiations” for the role.
In this version, Rachel Zegler is playing the role of Snow White. Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man) is on board to direct, with production kicking off next year.
Deadline notes, “Insiders say the live-action film will expand upon the story and music from the original.” The original Disney animated movie was released in 1937.
