True to the DIY spirit of the actual Phantasm movies, writer/director Aaron Mento is paying tribute to Don Coscarelli’s franchise with what he’s calling an upcoming “Phan Film.”
The not-for-profit fan project Phantasm: Vigil Lords is set in the universe of the official Phantasm movies, and it looks like there are some interesting idea in play for this one.
Phantasm: Vigil Lords follows “a group of outsiders on a perilous quest to find a golden gate that could imprison The Tall Man forever.”
