Puppet Master's Most Beloved Maniac Finally Joins the Ranks as a Standalone Terror

You heard right, and it was a long time coming if you're like the faithful us pining for more PUPPET MASTER Full Moon entertainment. Aside from the fact that for sure we're going to get a sequel to THE LITTLEST REICH from Fangoria, Full Moon has already launched a "sequel" to their own AXIS TERMINATION, and wouldn't you know it: it's not just a sequel, but a spin-off....

Check Out the Campy Goodness That Is BLADE: THE IRON CROSS

Full Moon to a tee -- and ready to slice. What's interesting is you don't see the rest of the gang in here, which explains why the title only includes the name of our favorite puppet: Blade. Yes, this follows the events of AXIS TERMINATION, but to have a sort of "sequel" focus solely on one demonic puppet speaks a lot to the fan base.

Blade Officially Joins the Ranks of the Likes of Annabelle and Chucky as a True Icon

We'll be the first to say, though, that the PUPPET MASTER flicks don't honestly hit all the right notes at least from a truly thought-provoking horror mentality (like GET OUT, US or A QUIET PLACE), and undoubtedly the property faded into distant memories over a period of lackluster developments here and there.

But this is a testament to the longevity, resilience and utter, well.... gore that comes with these films. They don't pull any punches. Not by any stretch. You get some flesh, blood, funnies and more. And you can't expect less from FULL MOON. This was what horror grew up on; sure, we might be a bit more used to some of the more adult-type stories nowadays, but back in the day, this was what we dug when things went bump in the night.

Are puppets still scary? Yep. We think so.
