Telltale Appears to Squash Rumour of ‘The Wolf Among Us 2’ Appearing at The Game Awards 2020

With the rumour that Telltale is set to reveal The Wolf Among Us 2 tonight at The Game Awards 2020, Telltale has apparently shot down that rumour with a brief announcement on Twitter, saying that while the developer is currently working on an entire season of content (rather than an episodic format), the game isn’t quite ready yet to be revealed.

“One year ago, we surprised the games community with news that we had started pre-production on a new season of The Wolf Among Us. Since then, the team’s been hard at work while continuing our mission to bring many of the classic Telltale games back online.” This falls in line with what Telltale had mentioned last year when they stated that TWUA2 had to start from scratch with new technology.

“We know you’re excited to hear more about The Wolf Among Us 2. And we look forward to telling you more when the time is right. What we can say is that we are developing the entire season at once and there is more to do before we’re ready to share what’s next for the Fabletown gang. It’s just not time yet.”

While not confirmed, it’s expected that The Wolf Among Us 2 will be headed to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
