[Trailer] ‘Resident Evil’ Arrives Today in ‘Dead by Daylight’ For Consoles, Mobile And PC

As the press release states, the wait. Is. Over. Resident Evil‘s crossover with Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight arrives today on PC and consoles, complete with a new trailer.

Arguably one of the most anticipated chapters for Dead by Daylight, the new chapter features Nemesis as the Killer (known in-game as The Tyrant), while Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine arrive as the new Survivors. With their arrival comes a new map, and new gameplay mechanics.

“The Resident Evil Chapter marks an important milestone for Dead by Daylight and we’re very moved to finally see it out!” says Dave Richard, Creative Director for Dead by Daylight. “On top of immersing fans in one of the most popular horror universes, we’re also introducing new dynamics such as the integration of AI-controlled characters. This will give players something completely new to discover and we can’t wait for them to finally experience it!”

The Resident Evil Chapter is available for US$11.99. Those who purchase the Resident Evil Chapter will get a free exclusive in-game charm: the Umbrella Corporation.

Dead by Daylight is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Google Stadia, and PC via Steam and the Windows Store.

In fact, Behaviour currently has the base game and several of the DLCs available for discount on digital stores now.
